Default adjust cluth tension

My clutch tension is totally messed up because I had no idea which way to turn it...One time I turned it way to the right (when standing in front of the hood) and I was griding gears like crazy with the clutch all the way in...now I turned it back way to the left and it was fine, now it feels like the tension is really HARD....

so what way to I turn it to loosen it, without screwing it all up...

what u do is grab the pedal..pull up on it until it clicks...then press it down with your foot

u pull up the pedal..hear clicking...then press it down a couple times you should be ok

all this talk about turning something leads me to assume that you have an adjustable aftermarket cable. the thing you are turning is the firewall adjuster. turn the adjuster clockwise to loosen itupa bit. there should be no more that 1" of pedal free play.

yeah, I have an adjustable cable thing...

I tried both things, and the turning of the wheel clockwise seemed to of helped, but it did't last for long, and the tension seems to of returned to it's almost unberable stiffness...

could there be another problem??
