ok i have two problems that are really getting on my nerves
1st problem, every damn bump i go over it sounds like my exhaust pipe or something is slamming in the rear, its def not tailpipe cuz i go under alot and look and its no where near anything and its solid, maybe the decklid slamming or bad shocks or something but its like a slamming sound on bumps.....
2nd on startup mainly and 60 percent of the time turning off car and faintly idleing i hear a clank/knock sound coming from somewhere under the car, i checked near tranny and nothing when it happens when i turn off car its usually on last turn of the crank and it knocks twice and the shifter handle seems to move a bit, could it be somethin in the clutch or something....its not in the engine for sure it would be like a exhaust pipe is hitting the body but then again im positive its not.

1st Is it literally any road imperfection that causes this? Have you had your LCAs replaced lately? I had a nut/bolt/screw/bracket that wasn't tightened correctly or something and it would jiggly over any little bump that the tires went over....yeah, it was damn annoying.
2nd No clue.

i had the same problem as #1 and it was the hinge or whatever u call it where the tip connects to the pipe after the mufflers and it was hitting the rear sway bar and there was a little dent in the flange or whatever

yea i know the problem with the pipe hitting the axle and swaybar when it was installed it had this problem and i fixed it and i know its not doing it now, whats the LCA youre talking about? never replaced them...and how can i check engine and tranny mounts? just looking at them wont do much right lol

Well you could really just get under the car and push on your tranny hard enough to see if its not held in place properly...but now that I think about it if they were lose you would probably experience excessive vibration and such during all times of driving not just turning on and off.

since your car is lowered, check the clearance between the upper control arms and your exhaust pipes.
