Gas Mileage?

Gas Mileage?
I know, I know, a somewhat pointless post, but I'm curious. What kind of gas mileage do most of you folks get on your mid to heavily modded Stangs?
I get right in the neighborhood of 200 miles to a tank with my ride, maybe 220 or so if I'm REAL gentle with her....next to impossible, hehe.
Here's what I got -
03 Mustang GT
4.11 gears (yeah, big gas guzzler there unless I'm gentle)
75mm Accufab TB
Accufab Plenum
C&L Trueflow kit w/85mm MAF
Steeda lowering kit/caster - camber plates
Tri-X shifter
SLP Loudmouth I exhaust (rest of exhaust is stock)
Diablo sport tune
I run it on 93 octane premium pump gas. Nothing but the good stuff.
I realize that I could get a little bit better mileage if I'm a little lighter on the gas in 1st and 2nd gear, but, yeah, well, I'll work on it. What kinda gas mileage do you folks tend to get, with what mods?
BTW, YinYangStang, love your ride man. Sweet color, the rag top goes well with it. What year is it?

RE: Gas Mileage?
As you can see I am really lightly modded....for now. I get about 230 to 240 per tank. I used to have to drive highway a lot and was able to get 350 to a tank but I was on fumes when I finally rolled into the station. Carried a gas can with me just in case. I hate stopping. Just curious, why do you only run 93 octane? Seems a waste unless you have high compression.

RE: Gas Mileage?
Thanks for the info about the Diablo tune. I didn't know. I don't do anything special to get 230. I don't get it all the time, but most of the time. Like I say, I just hate stopping so I go until I think I can't go no mo. I'm not easy on the pedal by any stretch. I think I got a 15.7 gallon tank and I have been known to refill with 15.3 or 15.4 so I guess I cut it pretty close. That's why I carry the extra can. I'm know my gas gauge pretty well.

RE: Gas Mileage?
You guys are all really crazy. I bought a new Ranger in 03' and traded it on my 03' GT just last week. My 03' Ranger NEVER not once EVER had below half a tank. The only time it was below was when I test drove it off the lot becuase the factory doesn't fill it up. As for you gas millage it is fine the sticker says that the car is supposed to get 18 city 26 highway. Obviosly it all depends on your style of driving. My GT will never be below 25% unless I am at the track. As for the oct? I run 87 for now until I do something I don't know how good that is I think I might change it to 93. Has anyone been able to notice a differance? I get about 100 to half tank with some highway driving since it is my new GT I am pretty tough of the gas thats for sure. I haven't been able to keep that great of an eye on it but I will start.
I have read some studies on how if you don't let your tank run below half not only is it better on millage but it is also better on the motor? Don't know if this is true but I have always stuck to it unless wieght is a really really big issue I would look into it.
