3.73 are the best all around street/strip gear.

i've got the 3.73's in my '02 5 speed and i love them.. but then again i do more highway driving than in-town driving. when i shift into 4th gear to pass someone on the highway, it puts me right near the engine's max torque RPM so it works for what use it for (if anyone's traveled hwy 36 in Texas you know what i'm talking about... up a hill, down a hill, damn there's a big truck coming, honey shut the hell up we'll make it.. damn that was close)

as of now i have 3.73's. and what do i think of them............... they suck major azz.

it's diffrent for a 4v compared to a 2v. 4v's need to rev, where as the 2v's dont........

and this is not my dd, and have also heard from other's on svtperf. that they turn around 3000 rpm's at 70. which is not bad at all.

as for the nitrous and the 4.30's. they also said go for, but get ready to hold on

If you think 3.73's are too little, and you think 4.10's are too much, go with 3.90's.... Problem solved..

I don't care about what all the hype is over 4.10's im gonna go with 3.73's because i feel that is the perfect gear for our 2v cars.

I wouldn't go any lower than 4.10's. you will be running at about3,000 rpm at 75 or 80. any thing lower than that is ridiculous for an everyday driver.
