I bought mine with 117k on it and almost identical as yours except i had 2.73's and electric w&l's. but i got mine for $2400 LOL. only thing that sucked is i had to replace my intake with the new aluminum crossover, but a 12pack, a buddy and about 3 hours and all was good.

mine passed emmissions and everything right from the get go. I added the mods in my sig except the NOS. havent installed it yet, kind of getting cold feet though.

Good luck with the build, i will definately keep watching to hopefully get some pointers. I will say this though. I have done all the bolt-ons and I am still not impressed with the power. I'm either looking at purchasing a used PI motor with less mileage (they are cheap, under $1k) or some type of F/I and ive probably spent $1000 in boltons so if you can find a deal on a vortech or something I will add +1 to getting a charger. otherwise have fun and "drive it like you stole it"

well i just swapped rear tires, to the 10.5 wides and man does she hook, grip and go......whoooh, and i swapped out the head lights to a kool blue syvania, real white and bright and real clear and clean

Nice man. I have a 1997 mustang and I am pretty sure I have the "248A" Gt package as well. I have 3.27s, crank windows and manual doors, did not have a cd player, all that jazz. My car is the same color as yours, it has 83k on it, and I bought it from Chester, MD area. I paid a little less than you did but it needs a front bumper some day. Congrats. I bought it with 82k on it in november, 07.

good to see alot of decent buys out there one of my friends bought a 1997 cobra with white on black for 11,400 and it has 27000 original miles real clean car w/ bbk catted h pipe and flow 40's.....i wish all new guys out there the best of luck, they are not hard to find

BTW i added a BBK Cold Air Intake and i think it has a lil' more grunt but just cruisin and with the foot down alittle bit it sounds like nitrous purge sssiiiiisssss....lol[8D] hopefully i will be adding a mac prochamber next i just got quoted local exhaust shop 1600 bucks for bbk ceremic coated lt's and bbk x pipe w/ cats...i went [:-]and walked out thinking i should just do the work my self even though i here its a pita but its about 1000 bucks less

Hey, heads up on those Projector headlights, my old mustang was the same body style. I had the projectors on mine and they looked nice but their performace sucks...... especially the low beams...
But Nice stang, really like the color.
