I pulled my scoop off to paint it, this popped the seal they put on it at the factory. While I had it off I drilled each one of the honeycombs out, so they're holes that go straight through. When I wash it, all the water runs right out, and you can't tell the difference.

Yeah, I sypathize with all of you on the hood issue. I notice the washing issue immediately but moreover, while I like the hood, it really bothers me that it is useless for anything but screwing up your aerodynamic profile. As a suggestion, why not go with a shaker hood as long as are at it. It looks cool & is functional.

Cobra R hood is the best I think.. Thats what Cervinis calls it, but steeda makes it and its there standard hood. That Steeda race car is HOT $HIT!!
My other choice is the mach 1 hood with the shaker scoop if your going to keep it naturally asperated. Heres a company that sells the shaker intake and the stock mach 1 hood. Not like that other company that uses the stock gt hood and puts a stupid panel over it. Which makes the hood looks so ugly.
