03/04 GT Times
Hey guys sorry to bring this post up again, if its already been brung up. I dont visit the 4.6 forums much. Anyway tommorrow im hoping on trading in my 94 GT for an 03/04 GT or an 01 Cobra. Im curious about their 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Are 99 + GTs pretty much the same? any info would be appreciated, thanks.

Actually the 99+ GT's are a totally different beast thanks to the PI intake and PI head upgrade. In 1999 they used a better flowing plastic intake similar to the one on the LS1 and the heads are more open and flow much better. They also switched from the T45 tranny to the Tremac 3650. They are probably a good second faster in the quarter than the SN95 models. What are you looking to pay for one. Ive seen '03 Cobras go for as low as $24000 and Mach1's going for $18000. One of those two's would be your best bet.
EDIT 0-60 times for the 99+ GT's are suppose to be 5.4 but with full bolt ons and good traction you can get it down as low as 4.0. Thats what mine averaged out to be with a 1.86 60' at the track.

i dont know, maybe im not into the whole racing thing, but the first number i look to is the 0-60 times, not the quarter, and when i think of 4 seconds flat, i think of some pretty exspensive cars..
just wondering... how much does one expect to spend on 'full bolt on'?
(no, im not interested in actually doing it...
