you have a coil over plug, its sometimes referred to as coil pack, but then people mistake it of the coil pack that actually goes on 96-98. so when you refer to something use it as a ignition coil not a coil pack, coil pack = 96-98, 99+ have ignition coils, or aka coil over plug.

Ecstacy is right a coil pack is literally a pack of coils like on the 96-98 with plug wires leading from them But to answer your question yes that rinsing could cause you some problems but when I've done that it usually works for me just to dry them out (unplugging and waiting for a while) If that dosent fix the problem check your MAF sensor. I had the same studdering and loss of power about a week ago and after alot of trouble it ended up being an upstream 02 sensor. Just some things to keep in mind if fixing some of the things mentioned above dosent work for you.

Graystang you've got misfire city I'm sure.

If your car has run fine before, but stumbles (misfires) sometimes, your hardware probably is all good. Probably not your coil on plugs either, they dont go bad often. You can check spark if you want, but if it ran before, it'll run again. Its probably bad fuel control on the part of your computer. Check my post about it, see if it fits your 'sich.
