I feel naked! =(
Just dropped my car off at the dealership to have them look into the rear end noises I have been having, and to look into the syncros. Btw thanks to those that posted on the TSB for the syncros, I was glad to see there was a TSB for them. I had been having a little trouble with them, and the posts convinced me to have them fix it. Im sad though, gotta leave my car overnight *cringe* I just hope they take care of it and dont have any problems down the line. And yes, I wrote down the mileage

My dad is a manager for a ford dearship and he told me after they did the work to it they ran it quite hard on the highway. Not a smart thing to do to mustang belonging to the bosses son.
Just a fair warning that some mechanics want to have fun w/ a car that isnt theirs.

*cry* i know and thats what I am worried about. I know when I worked at the dealer I had my fun, so hopefully they wont have too much. No way around it I guess, I dont want to pay a couple grand out and do it myself when I can get it done under warranty for free. The keys have been out of my hand for only a half hour now, and dang do I miss that thing.

True to form Ford says they cannot verify the problem. It is actually really aggrivating. I know there is problems with the car, and I know that they need to be fixed. I just got off the phone with the service writer and the transmission fellow was unable to find anything wrong, and now the service manager has to test drive the car and see if he can duplicate it. In other words I am getting the run around here. I gotta call back in an hour or so, I guess the manager is test driving my car atm. If they dont get there heads out of their a$$es I will be down there with a hot a$$ temper and my ASE Master Gold Certified father (who will prolly have even more of a temper) to get thier incompetant a$$es in check. I can picture it now, after the **** hits the fan and tempers fly....him pulling out of the parking lot sideways in his 03 cobra and me right behind him in my 03 gt.

You know, I really hope dealership employees dont make a habit of test driving cars that arent theirs. I know it happens, but I dont thing these morons can even imagine the liability they take into their hands when they are out beating the crap out of our cars. Just say if they got in a wreck, you could raise all kinds of hell and sue the dealership, in fact you could probably get a brand new GT out of it. Just imagine if the media got a hold of a story like this, man that dealership would be in a world of hurt. Not to mention if they hurt somebody while test driving your car.
