ok i know this a often asked question but i need someone to walk me through this..
i bought a kn airfilter,and i cannot find the damn thing...i may have looked at it but i have no idea what i looks like besides/rubbee/plastic piece- right fender
can ne one help..
its a 04 3.9 btw...

It is in you air intake. It is the only ****in screen in the middle of the intake

On a GT it is on the right fender next to the radiator core support, the big cone looking box thing inside the engine bay.

Here you can see where my Shaker snorkle is attached to it.


I'm sure it is the same on your V6..

Thats not the air silencer and its not a screen either..........

Its a rubber tube that is attached to the air filter housing. When you remove it, it just makes a bigger opening for air to come in.

In the pics, unbolt that bolt you see going into the fender on the top of the black intake cover. Then you can unlatch the cover and pull it off. Look inside and you'll see rubber around the edges. Just pull the rubber out and you're done.
