Can I borow it? LOL

but seriously, is there anywhere i can go to just USE it, bc after one use its pointless.......assuming gears is all i do.....right???

some one convince me otherwise!
Sorry you can't borrow tuners from friends unless they restore their original tune back into their car. The tuner is VIN locked to your car until the original is returned so it can be used on another vehicle.

If you have a auto bro you really should think about getting a tuner for your car. The changes it makes just to the way your tranny acts is worth it by itself. I dont think Ford make a 3.90 gear set but Richmond does. Dont fear the 4.10's, Its only about a 200-300 RPM diffrence at 70. (Comparing 3.73 - 4.10)

yeah.. don't get 3.73s, you'll regret it later. even if you got 3.73, you'll think that was a mistake at first, but ater you get used to it, y ou'll be kicking yourself in the **** later. hell, people with 4.10 want to go to 4.30!

I hear alot of anger from people with 4.10s while driving on the high way. Im at college and i drive home quite a bit, its about an hour drive on I-88......am I goin to b "kicking myself in the butt" for that?

(i live in chicago)

and most of my driving besides on the high way to get home, would be in the city.

I had 3.73's and changed to 4.10's. You have an auto, go with the 4.10's, you'll be much happier with them

If you're N/A, get 4.10s... If your 350+, get 3.90s... If you're 425+, get 3.73s
Only advice on a daily driver is to not go out of your way to get the loudest exhaust. The gear will raise your highway RPMs and alot of noise does get annoying. However it more than pays for itself in all around better accelleration.

OK... a tuner or getting a tune will work to correct your computer for gears, but you can by a "Speedcal" from

http://www.ninosport.com/

100$ there and you can probably find it cheaper... just make sure it works on your year and tranny... if it does its less than an hour to install and is quite simple

much cheaper than a tuner especially if all you want it for is the gear change (not knocking the tuners i plan on getting one myself soon even though i have a speedcal for my 4.10)
