Default cc plates

I just installed my caster camber plate with 1.5 lowing springs from CJ Pony Parts and now i have a clunk in the front end when I go over bumps. I still have the stock struts and shocks, don't know if they would be bottoming out or not. Just wondering if anyone has had this problem. Ill post pics later when I get to a computer.

Your top shock nut isn't tight enough. That is what happened to me. Did you use a air socket to tighten it up? When you go to get it aligned they should be able to fix that.

I already got it aligned. I had to put the two spacers in with the kit.I put a screw driver in the slot and tightened with a wrench. I'll try to hit it with the impact gun when I get home.

I thightened up the strut nuts and it helped a little. When I installed the plates was I suppose to leave any of the other rubber bushings other than the one under the dust shield.

I can't remember all of it, it was so long ago when I did mine, but I don't think you are suppose to leave any rubber bushings. What kind of cc's did you put on?

aftermarket cc plates are notorious for clunking, especially the cheaper ones. Not all of them but most of them.

Ok thanks, I guess I'll leave it like it is. They are IPR cc plates.

I left the rubber that was under the dust cover and that was it.
