Default Crate Engine

Does anyone know where i can get a forged crate engine for my 1997 mustang gt that has at least 325 horsepower for at the most $5,000 and the compression isn't too high? An engine that is already assembled so i can just drop it in.

Thanks,
Mike

You can get 5.0 crate engine for that price and hp. I have been looking for a 4.6l myself and they are just ungodly in price.

351, ported heads, rpm intake, and basic supporting mods, and you'lls be at 300-325rwhp, and 400+rwtq, then when you get some more cash stroke it to a 408, or 418, and then have some N/a 450rwhp 550rwtq fun.

or option 2 a big block
buy a 460, stroke it to a 466 put some Kaase heads on it and big cam. (this finishes off your 5k) and your sitting on a C6 z06 killer, turning 9's in the 1/4

yes, all you need for the 351 engine is the 5.0 kmember from the 94-95 Gt. you can get a fuel injection setup for this one too. the 460 on the other hand you'll need a motorplate or a swap kit from jegs/ summit....my personal suggestion is to get a motorplate this will allow you to set the engine down and back to reloacte the center of gravity on the car.this helps with the front/back ratio's.

i was gonna say if you were going drag car i have a 560ci engine for sale. but for that i would go with http://www.tonisenterprises.com/faster5.0/ford308.html we just put it in out '95. It is a nice set up. plenty of power and then throw a 150shot on there for fun and you will be set.
