What size tire will fit

i need new rear tires and i dont have the money for slicks or radials so im wondering whats the widest size tire that i can get on stock 96 rims i heard 275

You can go 315 if u want to.

On stock 8" wheels, you can go up to 275.

You can go as wide at 315 with aftermarket wheels.

I've got 275's on my stock rims and thats as big as you can go.It was fun watching the guy try and get them on there,he had 2 huge prybars and a whole bunch of lube.After he was done he said he was never doing it again.
