Engine check light on?
I am looking for a used mustang and yesterday I met a owener. Its a 98 GT, Auto trany, with 98K.The car perform well but the engine check light is on. That guy said there is no problem with this car, the light is on only after he changed the K&N cooler air intake. And he oncetook the car to repair shop to check but got nothing wrong without codes. He also said I can take this car to whereever repair shop to check problems.So what you guys opinion? Is it possiable the engine check light ononly because change somekits?

its very possible that the light is on because of the k&n kit install. just take it to autozone/o'reilly or wherever and they will check it for free and you can have them erase it too.
