Exhaust Leak??

I have a 02 Mustang GT with a Vortech, Comp Cams, headers, SLP full exhaust, and the usual top end add ons. I have a mysterious "popping" noise that seems to come and go and it seems to be coming from the drivers side header area. When I had the BBK shorties installed, I found out that the EGR pipe AN fitting bottomed out before sealing against the male fitting on the headers. Not enough threads on the male side. This caused the same type of noise when I started the car. I thought I had this problem fixed, and never heard it again. I just found the back half of my EGR Valve Differential Feedback Sensor had a big hole in it, which I guess was overlooked when I had the car tuned. Now - I have a mysterious "popping" exhaust leak that comes and goes, AND now that I replaced the busted sensor, I can't rev the engine over 3000 rpm without massive popping and misfiring! I am frustrated. Can anyone help?
