Default Cracked Intake Manifold....Any ideas?

hey guys,
I bought my 98 GT back in July and recently it started losing coolant. I couldnt find the leak for a while but now its obvious that its from the front intake runner, where it crosses over behind the alternator. I still have the old all plastic intake manifold. I doubt ford is going to do anything about it since the recall date is past or whatever. Is there anyway to fix this besides replacing the intake with a new one? Is it safe to drive as long as I keep an eye on the leak or not at all?

Replace it. Upgrade to a PI intake manifold... You could drive around with it still leaking, but of course you run the chance of over heating. And you'll be making one hell of a mess. [&:]

Can I get a PI intake without PI head swap? I'm planning on doing it but not right away.

Yea mine cracked andi waited a longg time to fix it, if your not going to do it right away, make sure u havent driven it for a few hours, sand the crack with a piece of sand paper, and jb weld it! make sure you get the kind that is good for water welding though! that worked best for me. It will eventually start leaking, but youll only need coolant once in awile!
