i want go over 400 hp what do i need?
Ok I have a 98 GT and to my understanding the bottom end of the 4.6L 2v will only hold up to about 400rwhp until stuff starts breaking? What do i need forged internals of the bottom end?....and if so what do i need like pistons or what and where do i get them at?....thanks

I would look into getting a fully assembled shortblock. You will want a forged crank (optional, but i would), rods and pistons.

just get a build long block. i think mmr has some nice long blocks and then ur gona have to choose some kind of forced induction. turbo perhaps!? or supercharger or nitrous.

If your stock now its a long road to 400 WHP... not nessicarry to start with the shortblock.
PI swap, exhaust, intake boltons, and boost/nitrous can come first before a new engine.

right i already ordered the twin turbo setup and im just waiting for it to get installed...and for now im just goin 2 keep the boost down low so its at around 400hp (safe zone). i was just wondering what all i need to get done to get out of the safe zone and go way above 400hp
