My 97 cobra's got intake, exhaust and x-pipe. Is it worth getting a dyno tune at this point? It does run kinda rich with the o/r xon it ..

o/r x shouldnt make it run rich. even with a CEL on it still ownt affect how the car drives.

IMO no... if you get all the boltons then sure, but just a CAI, catback and an xpipe no its not worth several hudnred dollars. plus any major change you make your gonna have to get it retuned.

I wouldn't spend that kind of money on dyno time if I only had a couple of bolt ons. Your car will benefit from a tune, but for now your wallet is better off just getting a tuner.

And you don't know the car is running rich.. the smell from a o/r midpipe is common, doesn't mean its running rich.

Hmm. What else do you guys think is worth doing to this car? Already have the above mentioned bolt ons and 4.10 gears. What else is there to do that is any real bang for my buck? Can someone help me out with that?Like, I heard that these cars don't benefit greatly from lt's and are more trouble than they're worth. And other than like .. plugs and u/d pullies I got nothing. And are those even really worth it?

if you go longtubes ull need a different, shorter midpipe anyway.

and full exhaust will require a tune if you want the max hp gain outta it. You should get anywhere from 25-30rwhp.
