Default Anyone installed a Roush

I am looking to shorten the throw between gears in my gt, but want to make sure they hold up well. Any advise is appreciated..

Well, actually its a Hurst shifter, but itsan applicationthats stamped with"Roush". I can get it for cost.

You shouldn't have a problem. But while I don't care for Steeda that much, I do have a tri-ax in my car and it is a great product. If the Hurst shifter doesn't work then I would go for the tri-ax</P>


If you can get a Hurst shifter for cost, then go for it.</P>

Default Anyone installed a Roush

I got the Roush Edition short throw shifter installed Saturday afternoon and its sweeeeeeet! It makes a ton of difference. It seemed as though the stock shifter had to wait for approval from the tranny before going into a gear, and with the ratio of this shifter, it doesn't need $hit exept for a quick in and out on the clutch. While I was there, the parts manager was chitchatting with my uncle(my uncle is his boss) and he said he had a set of ud pulleys by Steeda that he would let go for 60 bucks, so needless to say, I took those home too. Those damned things retail for like 209 or something around that area. Get those installed tomorrow(Monday), so I will post results...
