Don't expect to go out and run down an LS1. I have the predator and my main reason in purchasing it was due to the gears i had installed. Although i've done other things with it, I didn't buy it with hopes that it would produce serious HP gains. You are asking about shift firmness, I assume you have an auto?

It's a good peice of equipment to have. You can do a great deal of things with it. Also, if you have any questions, they have a website where you can go in and ask any question you have that's related to the tuner and they will give you an answer.

all i can say is it is a good product. there staff is great they provided me with a free safe tune when i went s/c instead of useing that time bomb tune vortech sends you.... as far as shift firmness i cant tell you im manual. when you go to tune it they should do that for you.. also like stated b4 its good for when you change your gears or to turn the rear o2 sensor off. and if you have trac control you can turn it off so that you dont have to turn it off each time you get in your car. any good buy have fun. just dont mess with the fuel and the timing to much but leave the fuel settings up to the tuner completely...

I just installed my DiabloSport tuner along with some underdrive pulleys. I can definitely tell the difference. The engine is much more responsive and pulls harder throughout the entire RPM range.

bump up the spark advance in both fields to max... your only bumping your timing a lil bit but it will unlock some ponies.. and make sure your running highest grade fuel before you do this, we wouldnt want you driving with a pinging noise =)

oh and um... id say reisntall the tune every time you fill up your car. Our cars tend to loose tune after your dive it awhile cause the computer tries to optimize your fuel curve for better fuel economy thus somewhat slowing you down... =)
