Default lt installation

im gettin ready to put my long tubes on here shortly my cars up at a body shop right now gettin a new front clip put on it where i got hit the other day. should i go ahead and go up there and put them on since the fenders and hood is off of the car? oh and how long do u think that it would take to put them on

gotta pull the motor bro. the header studs wont let u get the manifold on and off. there isnt enough clearance between the body and and the studs so u gotta hoist the motor up high enough to slide the manifolds off of the studs. not to mention the steering linkage goin thru the headers. a shop will charge anywhere from 500-650 to do the install. or u can go buy/rent an engine hoist and do it your self. if u do it your self its about a 2 day job if uve never done it. if a shop does it and they arent busy its at least a full day, if they are busy it will take a 2nd day to complete.

yeah i figured id have to pull it, but i got an engine hoist and help a friend put lt's on his 98 but heput a 5.0 in it,but will it be any harder to put them on my car?

(remove the spaces)has a killer write up on how to do it and i have doe it myself, managable for most gear heads and no tools to rent.

I just got done doing this. I took the k-member out. The hardest thing was putting the front suspension back together. We couldn't get the spring back into the a-arm. Have fun. It was a rough 2 days for us.

they are the rubber things on the end of the springs, isos is short for isolaters.
