I looked at the link, but didn't notice whether or not this hting hooks up to your computer or not (car computer). How accurate are these things?

There accurate within a few hundreths of a second. But make sure you make a acceleration run on level ground. I love how it measures G's I got my car up to .92 G's I went to my local dump and weight my car with a full tank of gas its 3360. With me 3580. The best I have done is 0-60mph in 6.3 seconds. 14.7 1/4 at 95mph. I need a better clutch. I got the RR verson so I can upload my times and sessions to my PC. Also I can record a 2 hour road race session. I love it. And its got a shift light.

i was reading up on them and the SS and RR seem basically the same, what would you do with a 2 hour road race session? 199 bucks for semi-accurate anytime numbers might be fun....

I always like having the best, I also want to compete in autocross so it might be handy. Also the RR model alows you to upload your times into the computer and look at it throught there software. I was fooling around with configuration and I think I got it set right. My new best is
14.42 at 95.83mph. and 0-60 in 5.89 seconds. with a 2.23 60 ft time.

He does anyone know what there trap speed was in there 1/4 mile? I need to know to configure this thing better. With a stock GT, or with cat backs..... Thanks Guys!!

Thats really weird. what mods do u have to ur car? I have a 2000 GT with BBK full length headers, high flow x-pipe, and mac cold air intake (those are just the power mods). My best G reading is .72, but i got a 0-60 of 5.7 and 1/4 of 14.32. i cant understand why my ET is lower than yours, but you are pulling more G's.

Aside from that, the G-Tech meters rock, but i only bought mine to check on the progress of my mods. well see what the 3.73's do next week

Hey what did you set the pitch to on your G-tech? I have just flowmaster after cat exhaust thats it for mods. And I have yokahoma ES100 tires. Yeah .92 G's not bad.

Dammit man, with mine, I'm not anywhere near that in G's and I'm pulling like 5.2 0-60s and 13.7 or so 1/4s. Haven't used it with the spray though. Can't remember exactly, but I got a bunch of the runs saved, so when I get home I'll check for sure.

You can find them used on different forums. Also look on Ebay. I only have the older style but I got it a 1.5-2.0 years ago for $59 delivered to my door new.
I like it for modding instead of going by the seat of your pants. If nothing else, its consistant, which makes it great for modding. I like it when I am looking at buying a new car too!
