245/45 continential extreme contact in the front, kumho 712. 275/40/ 17 in the back and two extras...17x 10.5 with 315/35/17 bfg drag radials. all 6 are 03 cobra wheels,, oooh i finally got center caps too.

BTW, I have had almost 0 problems with the D/Rs in the rain. They acutally hook better in the rain than my old BFG regular tires (granted they were worn out). I have never expereneced any sliding or loss of control. And if I didn't go around smoking them off all the time im sure they would have made it to 15K.

Firstly, can you rotate your tires and take care of them properly? or are your back tires larger than your front (P275 / P245)?
If you can rotate your tires and take care of them...and have the money ($300 a tire or so), Michelin tires are always a great buy.
If you can't rotate them and are doing burn outs, buy a decent cheap tire (E.g. Falken)...don't waste the money...on a tire that you understand won't last

Pirelli PZero Nero M+S was rated best all around tire in Tire Rack. Good handling, wet/dry and extended treadware for a high-speed tire. Check out this link: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....re1=yes#Survey
Standard tire for the '05 Mustang GT. ANYTHING is better than your stock Goodyears. In everything except 80 degrees and clear skies the Gatorbacks really suck!
