Sizes for Nitto 555R D/Rs on rear?

Sizes for Nitto 555R D/Rs on rear?

I know someone has stated it before, but what is the maximum tire size I can run on the back of my stock 17 inch rims (In nitto 555r D/Rs) without any problems? I don't want it to look like the tires are about to fall off the rims, but I was thinking you can run 275/xx/17s??? Someone please fill in the xxxs here.

i qam pretty sure 275/40/17 is the only size they make. thats what im putting on mine.

Nope, I used to run 315/35/17 Nitto DR's, but they would be just a little wide on the 17" stockers.
