I know Ford built one for a test mule and I think they stuck it in an 03 cobra but not sure.

i was going to put it in one, but the v10 (6.8) triton weighs as much as a BB and doesnt perform any better than the 5.4

For the cost/gas mileage/practicality of the project, it's not a very good idea at all.

Especially for a single person. Maybe someone with a load of cash, or a sort of project car. But that would certainly be about it.

But a stang with a V10 sound, still all Ford parts? That has to be worth something to somebody. Yeah there's more practical ways to go about things, but then why doesn't everyone just geta turbo kit instead of a centrifugal supercharger? [8D]A V10 mustang would definitely get my respect, not saying I'd do it, but I don't see it as being that totally outrageous.

I bet that car is horribly balanced. Probably over 60% of the weight will be in the front of the car. Unless they made a custom k-member that would enable them to mount the engine further back, but I don't know that there would be room.
