What stand alone ECUs are out there for 02-03 cobras? And what are the better ones? I checked with AEM and they don't make one for a 4.6.

i don't think there is one. if you want to modify the computer, SCT tuning will alow you to do pretty much anything you want with the car.

AEM? sounds like you are an import guy whos just bought a cobra or helping out a buddy. those companies dont make any legit parts for mustangs.

i still wouldnt waste your money on something like that. SCT tuning is the best thing out there for ford OBDII cars. why would you even spend the money on a lesser product that wont give you a proper tune or as much power as your car can make? we're talking about your engine here. if you aren't prepared to tune the car properly, don't modify it or tune it at all.

And BTW I have an 11 Sec Evo III and not to start a lot of isht talking but I have never lost to a street Mustang in the 1/8 or 1/4

(Street = Full interior, tags, and not a trailer queen)

there's a few people on here who will hurt your feelings. go to modulardepot.com and you'll see guys running 11's in street stangs, some N/A making 300 rwhp or so.

MPH in GA is pumping out 600 rwhp street stangs weekly.
