HELP WITH CLUTCH
Hey guys! Just got my new s/n due to me getting a new stang. 03 GT 5-speed Coupe. I know I might be beating the dead horse but I would like to get some feedback of my own. I'm afraid that its clutch time.... I plan on having full bolt ons and a dyno tune, no f/i in the near future. What is the most reliable and competitively priced clutch for those specs? I know i'll need my flywheel resurfaced and my buddy owns a NAPA store so I got that under control. I also have a mechanic friend who will help me put it in. Ive heard King Cobra, SPEC, and Centerforce. Fromthe searches I did I found some negatives about all three but then again everything cant be perfect! Will I need any access. like cable, forks, dont laugh its my first 5-speed. Thanks for any input!

Mustang clutches are real easy to do. It's real straight foward. However, the King Cobra isn't made for your T3650, only for the older T45. I'd go with a Centerforce clutch if I was you.

RE: HELP WITH CLUTCH
Its always better to over clutch your car rather then under clutch it. I would suggest going to spec's website and reading some and find the right clutch for your setup. Spec has a clutch for any application. For parts I would suggest a spec stage 2 or stage 2+. Also go with an matching flywheel. Depending on your rearend gear and your driving purposes decides alum or steel flywheel. While your at it, change your quadant and cable, and get a flywall adjuster. Then you will have a sick setup. And something that can handle furture mods.

I've heard a lot more bad than good with Spec clutches. I've never ran one, but I have used a Centerforce and it was an awesome clutch.
