The intake you are talking about is a EFI single throttle body per cylinder. Its a lot like the old muscle carand hot rodsetup's i.e. single carb per cylinder or 3 dueces etc. Its not a one off, but diffinetly custom and expensive. With the velocity stacks that intake would literally SUCK a massive amount of air.My .02

I wouldnt suggest going withthat setup, why not get something proven to work. Fox Lake makesthe best and most tested intake for a 4.6L out there. Ithink is kinda ugly but it does what it is designed to do.With a fox lake you would stand out because there are not aHUGE number of people runningthem. Actually you could let Fox Lake doyouwhole rebuild, and setupyour motor up perfect for yourneeds.

Also TrickFlow mades an intake, bullet sytle.

http://www.foxlakeracing.com/index.php

Look for intake manifold P-51 mod.
Fox Lake is a machine shop btw not a performance shop. They dont do install. They build engines and are one of the best in the country for heads.

yeah i just saw the intake setup on musclecar tv too a few hours ago. They make intake setups like that for the 4.6, they are pretty expensive and if you dont' have the car that needs an intake like that, you don't need that intake. That mustang they had setup had like 500+HP and was a road racer, so that intake was the best setup, for your car however, you don't have near that HP and probably have never road raced, so you don't need one, it'd probably have minimal gains on a bolt on 2v like all the other aftermarket intakes

sounds like that old weber setup. bad for torque, but back then that wasnt a prob cuz of the massive ci. however, with a 281, i would advise against it unless its just for show.
