Offset rack bushings.... Worth it?

Hello all,
So I am almost done installing my new k-member and was thinking about replacing the bushings on my rack and pinion. I was looking at offset bushings and was wondering if it somethingI should get or is it not necessary? The front of the car will be lowered 1.5 - 2.0". What would be the benefits?

- OhFYI, I am installing the QA1 proactive system.the part list includes:
[ul][*]tubular k-member[*]coil overs[*]struts[*]CC plates[*]tubular lower control arms[*]bump steer kit (tie rods)[/ul]

I've heard from a couple of people that the rubber off set bushings just spin and then it kinda defeats the purpose.

I have a set of off-center rack bushings in my glove box. My car has lowering springs, but I never installed the bushings, don't think I need to. I believe they're out of an 01 Roush? Not sure, but $20 and I'll send em' to you. haha (they're blue by the way..)

I got them on mine when I had to replace my rack and pinion, makes a little difference, not as much bump steer as before without them. I'd say worth $20
