Default Spec Stage 3 Clutch??

Was wondering if anyone is running a Spec Stage 3?? If so did you keep the TOB that came with it or get a different one, also did you keep the stock clutch fork or get an after market one??? Thanks.

I have the Spec Stage 3. I used both bearings that came with it, and stock clutch fork. I did get a quadrant and firewall adjuster from MM tho.

the clutch is streetable but its nothing like a stock clutch you can slip. it grabs alot and is not a clutch i would want for stob and go situations.

dont waste your money, for 300 hp all you need is a spec 1 (if you really dont like the stocker)

stage 3 is for ~620tq.. stage 3+ i belive can handle a bit more

True but if you plan on nitrous or F/I and want something for the future, then Stage 3 all the way.

Agreed. Look ahead to what you want to do later on down the road. It would SUCK to throw in an entry level clutch, only to have to replace it next winter when it slips w/ the new blower or whatever.

My clutch can get kinda "moody" sometimes. When it gets hot, it will shake and chatter a bit. I drive my car every single day, everywhere all the time. 9 times out of 10, it's GREAT! But if you have to sit in heavy traffic everyday, you may want to look elsewhere.

Pedal effort isn't bad at all. Especially for the power it's capable of holding.

I dont drive the stang everyday, Drive my 98 explorer mostly. Where I live traffic is not an issue, its either your goin or your stoped at a light thats it. . . Think that I'm probally goin run nitrous for a while then when I get some serious dough go F/I and a spray bar er somethin. . . Hey ZW99 GT ever heard of M&H DR's. . ? Was thinking of running 325/45/17's, think there will be any rubbin issues? Dont think that there will be but throwin it out there. Thx everyone.
