yes use anti seize..but VERY little of it...so its not all over the damn place..but u od have a little...and ALWAYSSS start by hand......if u dont...chances are ... well bad things can happen if you screw up ask gstam

Haynes always recomends antiseize..even when its not recomended.

At the VW dealer i work at, you get fired for using antiseize on plug bolts..and our engines dont even have a history of shooting plugs. if you change plugs at the PROPER TIME, no need for anti seize..i've never had a plug seize after 20 or 25k miles of service.
The problem i had when i changed my plugs..the bolts that hold the coils on, spray them down with some wd 40.some of mine were seizing up while i was putting them in because my engine was all sandy and isht, but if they're hard to go in, make sure that coil is all the way in, and then lube the bolt.
