Engine Trouble (Ticking Noise)
OK I read the post just before about the ticking noise but mine is totally different... I have a 99' Mustang GT and last week driving home from work (not ******* it) it starts ticking and I can feel it in my driving. At first I thought it was an exhaust leak, butI don't think an exhaust leak would make it lose power on and off.I have BBk headers,so this weekend I changed out my old gaskets for Percy's Aluminum ones and Stage 8 Locking Header bolts. That took care of hearing the tick from inside the engine compartment but I can hear it from underneath my car. And also it still affects the drivining aspect of it, I really hope it is not a bad piston or something of that nature.
Please help me in anyway you can...

My old boss has a 99 ford F 150 V8, His motor has a ticking noise too and they diagnosed the problem as being an exhaust leak. Hope that helps and welcome to the forums.
