Default RE: Any one with info on SLP Loudmouth Catbacks?

i had LM1s with the stock H and also catted X. my buddy Acer now has my LM1s with a MAC catted H. if you really want to go with off/road, you most likely will attract a lot of unwanted attention. casper has LM1 with o/r midpipe and he's getting LM2s now cause it's so loud and not that deep.

the LM1s are VERY loud with the stock H pipe and are pretty damn deep. i was very pleased with them. after i got my catted X pipe though, they really woke up! they got so much deeper it was crazy. it started tingling between my legs again. then i got the LM2s, which i like even more. when i first put those on, it wasn't that loud and thought i made a mistake. now that they're broken in, they're crazy loud and like super deep! don't even get me started on how they sound at WOT.

the LM1s with acer's mac H sound awesome too. in the lower RPMs, it 0wnz all. once he hits above 3k, it starts to lose it's luster. it's still very loud, no question about that. just not as deep.

if you're afraid of the cops, get the LM2s, they aren't as loud as LM1. you'll hear the LM1s from 2 miles away whereas the LM2s you'll only hear and feel from 1 mile away.

I have 98 GT SOHC, 5 spd. UPR X-pipe WITHOUT cats, and LM 1's.... Its loud, its deep... Its insane! Its an amazing exhaust set-up except at 2500 it starts to crackle, and then its normal and then at like 35-3800 it starts to crackle again. If i keep it to the floor from the start and powershift it sounds loud and deep and will make you go deaf. But if i shift slowly and normally i shift at 2k and it sounds like a normal X-piped cat back system just louder and deeper. But then if i get on it it crackles... i dont like the crackle!
