RE: any info on K&N CAI?
Yes you will get a few, 3-5 not any more.
The real gains come from a good TB and Plenum. Some say MAF, but the stocker is good for 300hp. And some MAF cause lean issues.
The K-N isn't a bad set-up at all. I went with the Tunable Induction (densecharger) ACcufab 75mm and a C&L upper plenum (polished by moi). Car pulls hard above 3k, tad sluggish on the other end.
I would recommend gears if you haven't already gotten them.

mustangtuning.com, summitracing.com, buyfordmotorsports.com,..... they are all over the place.
They change the rearend ratio of the car. 4.10s shave about .4 to .5 ths off the 1/4. If you go with gears and install you are looking about 500 bucks. I paid 550, because I got te girdle cover too and my own fluid.
It is one of the first mods to do to a 96-04 mustang.

They say the FIPK is not a real cold air intake because it is mounted inside the engine compartment. Hense, it takes in warm air.

Huh?

K&N FIPK is not a true CAI.
