Hello guys,

I have the chance to buy a twin turbo kit for $300 but it is for a toyota supra and the guy says that they are 17 PSI. I have a GT 2003 Mustang, if i made my own ducting would these work for my car? Thanks in advance guys.

You'll need a lot more than just the turbos. You're going to need an intercooler (which you can also piece together and save money), a new waste gate/bov (17 psi will grenade your motor), upgrade your fuel system (pumps, injectors), get a larger MAF (calibrated to the larger injectors), and a number of other things that I can't think of at the moment.
Also, $300 for a "turbo kit" sounds like you are buying someone elses problems. Find out what all is included, and if the turbos are in good working order, and what size they are. You may have to take them somewhere to have them checked out. Not sure how much a rebuild costs on those either.

Don’t buy it. If the guy told you they are 17 psi..... He has absolutely no clue what he is talking about. Turbos are rated on the size in millimeters not by the psi they put out. Plus the psi would be different on a 6cl engine vs. your larger v8 (I am pretty sure of this but not 100%). You could probably make it work but it would probablybe difficult and wouldn't give you as much of a hp increase that your looking for.

well, like most guys who sell stuff for crazy prices, he probably dont know ****. he probably knows it runs 17 on a 6. what are supras, like 3 liters? on a 4.6 v8 thatd be fairly streetable.
