i just got a new clutch for my 99 mustang. it is a ford racing clutch.. i was needing to know about how long do i need to wait till i can haul a$$ with it?

I waited for about 100 miles or so. But I couldnt help myself after installation, i ripped second gear pretty hard right out of my driveway on the initial test drive then waited. Its be fine for 40,000 miles so far. But yea give it around 100 miles. I bought the king cobra clutch kit.

i have been wanting to tear it up. i can tell it is ready to go compared to last time so i am even more anxious to let it go. i have not hot rodded it at all yet, really wanting to though. thanks for the advice.

I'd wait more than 100 miles.Just to be safe, i'd at least put 300. I just had my spec stage II installed and i went 400 miles before i got on it.

I'd be inclined to agree.. I had the 6 puck ram HD clutch installed, and I think I waited about 200 or so miles before I really ripped out on it..
