why should he be using it already? all he has is exhaust and intake. wouldnt it be fine if he just ran his tank of 87 down real low then filled up with 93 like the day before he tunes it so its already on the 93?

I installed a DiabloSport tune last week and didn't realize that I would have to run 93 octane. I had to go buy Octane boost immediately because the engine knocked with the 87 that was in the tank. I would try to get rid of the old gas ASAP and make sure your tank is full of 93 before doing the install.

I filled mine 2X with 93 after I ran the 87 down just to be safe. Then again, I was installing a super. Its probably a little more critical when suping it.?

i'd definitely run it through a couple tanks of 93. it's not worth hurting your motor by having an improper octane for your chip in the tank. i might even put som octane booster into the tank first, just to make sure all that crappy gas is out of there when you do the install.

hmm a quick question here, here we only have 92 - 95 - 98 octane ok then there is all those super gas types, but what would higher oct do to your car with any tune. do one get more speed?

thing that sucks is you will pick up virtually nothing in power, i have 93 octane tune and i don't think it did much for me at all, and that was a dyno tune
