Ok so whenever it's real cold out like it has been i'll start up my car sometimes and it'll make this loud whistle sound and it kind of sounds like a sc. It will last only about a min or so and then it willstop. I have listened to it before and it sounds like it's coming from either my altinator or my pullies. So what do you guys think it could be? I've also noticed that when i floor it my belt shreaks a little so i think it might be loose. Could this have anything to do with the whistle sound? Input please thanks

So if i just put a dab of silicone on the top and bottom of my belt it won't whistle n e more? i'll try it to see if it helps. But does it matter at what part on my belt i put the silicone?

I'm having a similar problem. I just installed udp's on my 96 cobra, and now I get a slight whistle every morning. It goes away within 2 or 3 minutes of driving. Tried new belt but didn't work. Haven't tried the silicon route, but that's only a temporary fix. It doesn't seem to effect anything, so I've decided to drive the hell out the fugger til' it does f up.
