clutch whine?
 

this may sound...odd, but whenever i start my car (97 cobra), mainly when the engine is cold, i hear a loud whine when i push in the clutch. does anyone else have this problem? is it something i should be worried about? couple of my buddies said its just a "cold clutch." this is my 3rd mustang and the 1st two never did this. the car does have 90k on it but its still in great condition. got any ideas?

my 96 gt does this too, but only when its really cold out. dont know what causes it but im sure its just the cold cause it stopped when spring came.

ya it doesnt do it so much when its warm but the last few days its been bad (we had cold weather, then warm, now cold again.) nothing is really that bad about it, its just really annoying

Mine did that too when it was cold. No big deal, but my clutch was going out anyway. Got a King Cobra Clutch and no more whine.
