Default MAC or K&N Cold Air Intake? ? ?

6 in one hand and half a dozen in the other? They are both roughly the same price. The K&N seems better quality plus it has the plastic tubing which insulates better then metal. The MAC is a bit cheaper and has the filter in the fender well. The only problem is it has the cheesy chrome tubing which insulates worse.

Your opinion?

CAL or whatever seems to be more expensive for no legitimate reason. Thanks all..

Most people agree that CAI's are only for looks anyway.I would get the one that compliments your engine compartment.

Due to the fact that I am poor, I bought a cheap, hokey polished one that went in the fenderwell. Not much hp gain, but it seemed to have better throttle-response. BUT I got a boost of about 3-4 mpg in the city and like 6-7 on the highway! It was ridiculous. It has already paid for itself.

I would do MAC I can get you one of those for 167.00 and they are a good system with proven HP gains

A full length densecharger is 170 new, and GREEN outflows all other filters.

They're THERE on partshopper. It doesn't include the 85mm MAM though, that's probably what you were seeing on demolet.com for 335.
