How would one go about taking off the antenna? I dont want to dammage anything. thanks!

it's true. It's in there pretty good though. use some pliers and put a cloth between the metal if you're worried about scratches. If you do get a scratch just sand it down and paint it. That's what I did when I cut mine. Why are you taking it off?

Because its ridiculous! its like 3 feet tall, plus i think those black shorty ones look real nice.

I have to agree. I put a shorty antenna on and it looks much better. Jsut don't plan on getting real go recpetion on your radio! To get it off, jsut use instructions above, that's exactly what I did.

I just replaced my stocker yesterday with a 13 inch antenna off ebay. It was 15.00 shipped which is much better than the one mustangtuning.com has for like 30 bucks. I noticed no change in reception and the shipping was quick too. Check it out...

haha, 3" that's sweet! I thought about moving mine to the back window on the top like lexuses and mercedes have but I figured that it would take a lot of work to do it....
