Default gas question

is it good or bad to use 93 octane in a 03 gt or should i go back to 89

If your car is stock. There is no need to use 93. Unless your car is tuned to use. It's just wasting money.

You are just wasting money.Don't stop at 89 octane though,go down to the recommended 87.
If your car starts to ping or knock with 87,then there's something wrong with the engine or someone has put in a different tune.

I was told by a couple of different mechanics that you're not supposed to use a higher grade fuel unless it calls for it. I know that some of the Acuras and Toyo's call for 93 octane.

Won't help the car but it won't hurt it either. I run 93 since I also have nitrous, but if the car is stock/stock tune don't waste your pennies on 93.

what about the diablo tune, i think it said to use a higher octane...should i do this?
