Wellll, I know my 04 Mach had the 3650, which I'd have to agree with mjaga, are complete crap.. First my second gear synchro went out, then the shift fork broke.. lol I really wasn't running it all that hard anyway.. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think they started putting the 3650 in the GT's until like march/april time frame in the second half of the 01' production year.. I don't know what the codes are, but Aereon's right, you should be able to tell from VIN codes on the door frame what kind of tranny you have. Also, you should be able to look up when the car was produced with the VIN number, if it was made after about Feb of 01', it probably has the 3650..
