Default Procharger / Lightning MAF

For all yall runniing a Procharger and a Lightning MAF, what did you do for the rubber hose directly upstream of the MAF. The piece that was included from Procharger doesnt fit. So can I just goto Pep Boys and get a 4" to 3" adapter hose?

Yea just find a 4" to 3" and you should be fine. Try to get a gently sloped one though, I had a plumbing pipe reducer with a sharp angle and at high rpm shifts it would blow it off before the bov let all the boost go.

I found a 3 to 4in the plumbing section @ Home Depot. Its a blue colored urethane piece. It worked great.

Read all below please. It'll let you know all you need to know about maf with a blower.
Please read my posts here concerning MAF and BOV proper placement:http://www.modularpowerhouse.com/for...p;postcount=45http://www.modularpowerhouse.com/for...p;postcount=48It would be better to switch to a blow-thru, yes. A proper blow-thru setup, like I described above is always better. You want the pcm to be able to see the actual aircharge entering into the engine, as close to the engine as possible (but not so close where you would get backwash from the intake/TB area). You definitely do not want the 90mm in a 3" tubing, and you really don't want the 90mm in a blow-thru in the first place. Here is the MAF housing and sensor that I recommend:http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index.php?p=product&id=234&parent=99 That utilizes a slot-style sensor (ala '05+ Mustang, '04+ F150, '08 Corvette, etc.). That is absolutely the #1 sensor on the market, and the best sensor on the market for a blow-thru application. It is very easy to tune, and very repeatable, and is good to 650 rwhp Actual in a 3" blow-thru application. I have tuned approx. 12 or so vehicles with that in the last 6 months.
