Nitrous on High Mileage Motor??
I was wondering if it would be alright to spray a 75 shot of nitrous into a car that has 147,000 on the clock? It has been well maintained and still runs strong. I was looking at the Zex systems and they look like they would be the safest system. Any comments would help greatly.

i would have a compression test done and then go from there. I've got 117k on my car and i'm kinda kicking myself in the *** for not pulling the trigger on a plate kit that a member was selling a couple of months ago.

Anytime you decide to run spray, you up the risk of something going wrong. If you decide to go with it, just make sure you have it installed professionally and you buy all the necessary accessories for safey precautions.

What nitrous system do you run? Did you notice any difference after using the nitrous like did it feel like the motor lost any power or did it feel normal? How hard does nitrous hit when sprayed, does it set you back in your seat and put a smile on your face?lol.

just check over everything (vaccume lines and crap like that), get a compression test, all that stuff and if it all checks out okay then go for it. buddies cobra had over 150k on the clock and he went through bottles all day w/ a 100 shot.

wet zex kit, and i dropped a full second in the quarter and trapped 10 mph faster. the only reason i lost power na is because the timing is set back 4 degrees from stock.

That is the same kit that I want to purchase. Thanks for info!
