No, they just scan it and give you a list of all the things it can be, then you start changing all of these things til you fix it, it's a rip off.

on 99 and 00 gt's theres some little trick to reading codes...go to www.mustangworld.comand poke aroundtofind it...its pretty cool and all cars should have it.

Take the positive wire on your battery loose, and keep it off for at least 1 minute. This resets the light. Put it back on, and if your light comes on withing the next few minutes, have it checked. If it stays off for good, you have no problem..Could have been a freak thing, but I doubt it.</P>

My cel came on last week and I suspect it has to do with the Bassani Catted X not doing its job. I did the mid pipe around christmas so it took about 3 weeks for the O2 sensors to trip. I unplugged the battery and now no more light. Hopefully it will stay off for another 3 weeks.
