im trying to understand exhaust more
im lookin to make my car a lot louder. i rele like the slp loudmouth 2 catback. but im curious as to wat makes the most sound, is it the mufflers? or the catback. and if i bought the slp2 does it come with the pipes i need and everything?

Keep in mind if you remove your cats by installing an off-road mid-pipe, your car will not pass inspection anywhere in the US. Some states/counties don't do emissions testing, but it's still federal law that any car that comes equipped with cats have them.
Also keep in mind that without cats your car is going to have a strong smell and it'll stick to your clothes and burn your nose at stop lights or anywhere you idle.
It'll sound great, but there are some disadvantages. IMO, catted aftermarket mid-pipes sound just as good and have no odor that is any stronger than when it was stock.

ummm about the smell i have off road mid pipe... i don't smell anything when at stoplights and idle?

i only have flowmaster mufflers and its preety loud at but my friend only changed his mid pipe so far to an x pipe with cats and its loud also headers make it louder they all flow better than the sock so any exhaust change should make it louder
