Default ***Forged Bottom Ends***

Whats everyone (that is not stock) running for their bottom end. In light of recent events, I am looking into getting forged internals, and would like peoples feedback about which company/kit they went with and if they had any issues with them. This is something I only want to do once, so I'd rather get some peoples experience on the matter. I know all the companies that make them, like MMR, DSS, MPH, CHP, SHM, and such, but would really like to know if anyone has experience with these companies and their products.

edit: spelling

I don't have much of any experience with the companies you mentioned, but I did just order my forged rods/rings/hypereutectics from Steeda, and I got the whole set for a little under $1,700 including shipping.. They're a little expensive yah, but I've never heard anything but good things about them either..

MMR900 Shortblock with all the addons :] great company to work with and great deals! plus they're somewhat "local" to me so i just went and picked it up myself. so far no problems over... 4k miles now.

they dont use "season'd" blocks and they have 1year warranty from date of purchase so thats pretty sweet. they have amazing customer service and provide top quality products

I bought my internals from pro power performance parts. Most racers use their parts. I paid $1500 for forged rods, forged pistons, forged crank, speed pro bearings, moly file fit rings and arp main studs. The have an ebay store.

nope.. because it happened like 1 year and 1 month after i got it. so i was 1 month out of warranty. they gave me a decent discount, but i would have rather gotten a block that wasn't going to break the first time.
