Default Stock Catback pipe w/ new mufflers or new catback?

I have:

BBT LT's
BBK O/R Shorty H

Stock Catback exhaust w/ mufflers

my question is that should I keep the stock pipe and just buy new mufflers, or should I buy another catback set? When just replacing mufflers, am I limited to just Flowmaster? Thank you!!

any side in side out should work. you can get LMX's and stuff like that to fit but an exhaust shop will have to bend some metal for you...which can make it pricey but its do-able. only difference is going from 2.25" to 2.5" piping. performance wise there will be little difference in power (nothing you would ever know), and sound will probably be a bit louder with 2.5" pipes

You really wont notice a difference either way. If you can get a good deal on the mufflers you want i would just go with that. It could save you a few hundred.

I'd just buy a whole new catback. I'd feel much better personally if I knew I had a nice 2.5" stainless steel catback under there.
